Somewhere along the line, one of my doctors suggested filling an unmated sock with uncooked rice, tying off the top, and heating it up in the microwave. Works great! And stays a lot warmer a lot longer than hot water.
Confine them to one room, if you can, especially if you already have other cats. Give them food, water and a litter box and let them acclimate for a week or so. Oh, and make sure the litter box is as far away from the food and water as possible.
I had heard that RSV was a “one and done” vaccine. I mentioned that to the pharmacist and that’s when he told me about the every other year thing. I plan to ask my PCP when I next see her.
I just finished up with my fall vaccines – COVID, Flu, pneumonia and Dtap. My pharmacist told us that the powers that be have decided that the RSV vaccine should be given every other year, so that will go on next year’s list.
