About 10 years ago I needed to ask for directions in Nanjing. I asked a young student-looking lady for directions (the younger Chinese people are more likely to be able to speak English). After getting the directions I set off at my usual brisk walking pace. After a few blocks the out of breath lady came running up behind me to stop me. She apologised that she had got the English words left and right confused and that her directions would get me lost. After all these years I still remember her kindness of going the extra mile to correct her honest mistake and to spare me any inconvenience.
The version I remember.Kermit: Bear left.Fozzie: Right, frog.
