   I know Cathy Guisewite, and she can indeed draw and letter much better than that. Maybe “OJ” is actually OJ Simpson making a “stab” at cartooning?

   BTW, some friends have told me they thought Sparky Schulz’s “Violet” was making a guest appearance here. Frankly, I can’t wait for the Peanuts character “5” (1963-83) to show up as a guest. He’d fit right in, as his entire existence was making fun of numerical-only phone numbers…

   Maybe a decade ago, this might have been the “modern” equivalent – I wonder what people will think of this particular artifact of 2018 in ten years?
