A few years ago, Minnesota DOT made a new section of highway that straightened out some curves. The old section was plowed up to basically a dirt road. Young person comes driving along blindly following his GPS and follows the old road right into the mud. Seems like MNDOT hadn’t notified the proper mapping companies that the road had been changed. True story told to me by the tow truck driver who got the job to pull them out of the mud. He asked the driver “Why would you leave a perfectly good paved highway to drive off into the mud?” Driver said “Well that’s what the GPS said to do.”
