   I appreciate your apology. I rarely clarify details ( believing the strip, itself, is its own explanation) but I realize that JumpStart is unusual. It is a complex examination of many aspects of life. I utilize story-telling techniques that aren’t all that common in comic strips. My readers are smart. You guys get it. You also are living your real life, and maybe a detail or two gets missed.

   She reported a blue Chrysler. Joe and Crunchy couldn’t arrest the driver of the van for texting while driving many weeks ago. They hit the siren because a tag belonging to a blue Chrysler was suddenly on a white van.
