In Asia, it spread from China to Korea (Jiangki) and Siberia, and from Korea to Japan (Shogi), From Burma it spread to Indonesia. Finally, in Iran, the Muslims took control and spread it to the Muslim world. From the Muslims (Seen in this strip), who developed chess further. it spread to Spain, Italy, and Greece. From these countries it went to France and Portugal, from which it entered Britain and Germany from France, and the Philippines from Portugal.
