   C’mon, y’all are taking this way too seriously. Lighten up! It’s a comic strip. A great one, but a comic. Strip creators take creative license and force us to suspend belief just like, oh, say Dick Wolf, Don Bellasarios, Quentin Tarantino, or Stephen Spielberg. We needed a bit of relief and between Brad and Bernice, we got it. :-)

   Yes, it was a book first. I used to work at the company that published it.
