I grew up in the First Baptist church. By the time I was 12 I graduated bible school and started going to the full adult service. What I noticed most was that apparently, Baptists sin all week and pray for forgiveness on Sunday.
I was over at my brother’s house many years ago and his 6 year old daughter was sitting at the kitchen table with a coloring book and a box of crayons. The cover of the book was yellow and had the face of a clown on it. I told her I’d help her color if she wanted. She grabbed a blank piece of copy paper and proceeded to freehand draw a near exact replica of the book cover. The only reason it looked any different was that it was in crayon. After that, I gave up even trying to do art. She still does paintings and such on the side, but works as a graphic designer. I have many of her works hanging around my house.
The problem with critics is that most of them do not buy the product they are critiquing.
