Today’s comic strip ranks up there with a story my niece wrote when she was in elementary school – “The Evil Turkey.” Let’s just say that in her story, the Turkey had a wonderful meal. :)

Sadly, more and more people are turning away from reputable news sources, especially newspapers. Instead, they turn to social media and slanted Fox News (not news!).

I fall in the Liberal camp. I listen/read a wide and quite diverse news media. I do not agree with all, but I won’t shut myself off from one camp and REFUSE to discount either news from the purported Liberal media or the Fox media. I may disagree with the messages but only after seeking as much info as possible. Labeling just helps shut one’s mind off from what may be a legitimate message.

Comics have long been used to comment on the social and political mores. My favorite comic was Pogo.

I used to participate in a local chamber of commerce technical advisory committee as my company was a member and encouraged my participation. I recall in one meeting where we were discussing minimum wage increases. A few members were vocal critics. One such member was going on a Caribbean cruise with his family, knowing full well that they had employees that were homeless, living in tents and cars. I still cannot wrap my head around the situation.

The effectiveness and greatness/awfulness of a president depends a lot on who he trusts and listens to as advisors and cabinet members. Is is possible that the Orange Baby learned anything from his first term? I hope I am wrong. Oh how I hope…

Sadly, many assisted living facilities have staff that steal from residents. We had our father in four assisted living facilities (loooong story) and we were constantly having to replace his clothes, shoes, etc., and the newer the items the quicker they disappeared. Marking or embroidering their names on clothes and shoes didn’t deter thefts. Interestingly, when he was moved to a nursing home, nothing was stolen, not even his clothes.

RE: “I pray to the non-existent god every day that half of America wakes from their stupor and realizes the Orange One is the biggest fraud to come along in decades.”While I agree that some of the Orange One’s followers need to wake up, I suspect that many don’t give a ^#$@ so long as the get what they want NOW and be ^#$@ed the rest.

Are you calling VP Harris a Marxist because someone told you she was? Please research Marxism and then try to type that with a straight face.
