A comment to Marmaduke—shelters and adoption agencies re a wonderful thought. But DO NOT adopt unless you are willing to make a lifelong commitment! I can attest to the trials and tribulations of adopting a twice rejected fur baby. Absolutely heart breaking. I wouldn’t trade her for anything. I only hope that God will let me live to continue giving her the love and life she deserves.
Not all “old ladies” bathe in perfume. I’m 75 and don’t use it. Your body chemistry does not always sync with the perfumes and each user takes on a different smell. I avoid the cosmetics departments for that reason as well. Oh, I might add, that some men are equally guilty with the use of their colognes.
Love the pup’s side of the story re perfumes. As one who is greatly affected by them I have tremendous empathy for the dog. People always seem to bathe in perfumes and colognes and then enter into places that are confining with inadequate ventilation. Heavy use of these products should be banned when flying.
I think you misunderstood my comment—THEY can screw up a simple breakfast order like scrambled eggs and bacon, by not bringing what was ordered and by substituting said scrambled eggs and bacon for a breakfast casserole. :(
