   No, Fleshy is a couple of years older than what Wikipedia says. He appeared when Monty lived with Robotman, but that was before the GoComics era.

   I am a Swede, and I have been wondering about this strip for about 40 years – it is in a pocket book of mine. After reading all comments, I am still not sure I get it. A ”vassal lien form” sounds like a ”vaseline form”? That’s not terribly funny, and not worth 40 years of waiting, is it? If there is something else that is funnier for native speakers, I would appreciate a step by step explanation for foreigners.

   I just got myself a GoComics account, just to be able to say how happy I am that ”Two cows and a chicken” is up and about again. Wonderful, amazing, original stuff. Some of the artwork reminds me of Wallace and Gromit.
