   I think the cartoons were originally in black and white, and have been coloured for modern readers. Different colourists might use different colours, but it looks like the same dress she wore a few strips ago. There’s no significance to the blue.

   I think there’s a lot wrong with the legal analysis. It appears he is assessing contemporary US laws, rather than the laws of the time and place. What were the statutes regarding self-defence in Egypt in 1936? What was the age of consent in 1925 when Indy first met Marion? And there’s a lot we don’t know about his hunt for the golden idol. Maybe the country’s government had hired Indy to recover it. Maybe it had been stolen from a neighbouring tribe, and Indy was recovering it for them.
