I miss having zucchini bread, with chocolate or without. I’ve had the pie & it was fair but no where near what my pumpkin pies tastes like. But then my pumpkin pies are great from what people tell me when they ask me to make some for their Thanksgiving dinners.
Just for the holidays? What about those days prior to the holidays when the goodies are either bought or made? And then you have to include those days after the holidays when you finish up the leftovers.
Yes. My mother was going to have an operation which they weren’t sure if she would be able to drive afterwards & I barely passed the requirements at that time age wise in order to get my license so young.
Not so, I’m from Calif. & got my license when I was 13 1/2 yrs old & was driving my 1st car when I was 16. I had to drive my brother to school & he was 2 yrs younger than I was back then. I had a job at McDonalds when I was 16 so I had to drive to work by myself back then. But I agree, Liz is a bit young to accept a ride from an 18 yr old boy.
I’d call it just plain politeness no matter the age. I’d say that maybe what & how they taught being polite is coming thru, something I think is lacking in how kids are taught.
It’s funny, in all my years the one thing I don’t remember is being bugged by bugs while I ate. Now afterwards with the scrapes & leftovers still around, then the bugs did come to get their share. I do remember the lit citrus candles, the bee traps & other items that discouraged the bugs from coming around.
I’ve been of ‘that age’ for several years now. I won’t even try to walk without my walker because if I did someone would have to call 911 in order for me to get up again.
