   One more note: JJ is rather adept at showing more bare skin than other comic strip artists. Old folks can feel sexier and more comfortable in their own skin and I think JJ adds a tingling sense of romance to sweeten the moment.

   Forced celebrations are not cool. And in this sense, the big deal is more about how these are 10-year (and/or 5-year) markers they we seem more focused on than with other years. Wonder how they (ancient tribes or nomads, etc.) did it before calendars were invented??

   Turning more and more into a sappy, soap opera which explains the gossipy nature of the commentary. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s an accident, quasi- “near death” event that shakes everything up so that “true” feelings get sorted out OR made far, far more interesting. Can we go where no mainstream comic strip has gone before and have a murder???? Bets comes back, stays with Tiff; Steff accidentally slays Bets when the intended victim is Tiff. Gun gors into a monastery to handle his grief, Steff gors to jail. and Kip and Tiff eventually take that intimate swim in the mansion’s pool. Meanwhile Luann and Bernice continue to sit in a room with Puddles and look bewildered.Nah….aint gonna happen. Kip will remain trapped by Steff’s spell and hissy fits which leave him stammering and making excuses. Tiff starts drinking and gaining more weight. L & B sit in room with P. Etc.

   Tiffany’s tongue-in-cheek final comment was the best (most humorous) line in the whole series. Lust with a laugh.

   Around here, we call the current bunch of GOPers, the “Don’t Give a Sh*t Generation.”
