Not so. Most common is Mandarin, which has 2 distinct writing systems, and there are many others.

I tried my level best to prove this theory for many years…I was unable. (Is there even such a thing as “enough” beer?)

Wow, I’ve never seen municipal water that cheap! Our town was charging 30/mo. until about 5 years ago, council started talking about upgrading the old water plant. They added an “infrastructure fee” to help offset the cost. When the new treatment plant finally came online last year, they added yet another fee, greater than the base rate. In the meantime, both the base rate and the added fee have increased dramatically. Then they switched the billing to quarterly and rounded up again! We now pay $255 every 3 mo. Starting next month, they are replacing all the old water meters with “smart” meters. Can’t wait to see the next increase!

Hello fellow Saskabush-er! While I disagree on the pineapple, I gotta say Hawaii DOES sound nice right about now! Also, my wife makes some of the best and most unusual pizzas I’ve ever had.
