   Tatuli has made it clear on his replies here that this was his decision, and I’m pretty sure that he isn’t going to take the strip back because people are announcing their dismay/departure. Coca Cola was a publicly traded company, that made money on every ounce sold, so when folks lost their minds over New Coke, they had an incentive to reverse the decision; Steenz has no incentive to ask him to take the strip back, either, and I suspect Mark is doing quite well with Lio and his books. And finally, it’s just rude of people. It is her strip now, if one doesn’t like it, respectfully go away without insulting her. Or if one is such a great judge of what makes the perfect strip, create one for us to also enjoy.

   Why does everyone feel compelled to announce their departure? Are we supposed to be sad that they’re leaving? I’m truly curious why they do so.

    I agree, the new art style is darling. Heart’s eyes in the last panel are exactly what I’d expect from Heart.
