Although, as much as I hate to say it the reason it could be your year is less time for stuff to go wrong. Less time for Aaron Judge to go on a huge slump for example, striking out 37 games in a row like in 2017, or Giancarlo Stanton getting a devastating injury like he does every year, or get tommy john surgery like Luis Severino, Didi Gregourious, Gleyber Torres, Michael Pineda, Aaron Hicks, and much more have also for the Yankees.
I saw that, getting hit in the head by a Giancarlo Stanton line drive has got to hurt. I saw the video and it looked very painful. Although he did not get a concussion and he is back to normal. It’s kinda crazy that you can get hit by a 112 mph pitch and be normal the next day.
