I hope you recover quickly. I use a CPAP. It’s just a matter of getting used to it and adjusting things until it works for you. Like GSD Mom, I use a nasal pillow instead of a full mask. But I added a chin strap so I would not breathe through my mouth and bypass the CPAP.
Occasionally I walk into the kitchen at night, turn on the light and find Tater Tot and Little Mischief staring raptly at the slit of space under the dishwasher or stove. Then I turn out the light and walk away.
My first thoughts on reading the question were memories of hitting my elbow on the corner of a bookcase, my head on a shelf…good times, good times.
