    Yeah; jokes like these would work a lot better if Nermal wasn’t almost the same shape as Garfield except smaller. It’s odd because a Davis has designed other cat characters with more varied shapes, but Nermal always is shaped like Garfield even when his design changes.

    Is it just me, or does poultry seem to be his favorite food in these early strips? Looking back on it, I’m not sure when it was established to be lasagna. It was as long as I recalled, but maybe it was a later development than I thought.
