  1. over 3 years ago on Peanuts

When I first saw this in 1974, I wondered when was the last time we saw Snoopy on all fours like a real dog?

  2. almost 4 years ago on Peanuts

It was. Rerun had an off-and-on history in those early years because Schulz couldn’t think of anything for him to do. His birth was announced on May 23. 1972 but after being referred to until July 1, he disappeared. He was seen for the first time on March 24, 1973 but only lasted until April 29. Today’s strip originally ran on January 21, 1974 – the first bike riding strip, finally giving Rerun some face time.

Snyder’s relationship with Marm is just like Wilson’s with Dennis – he’s secretly fond of him, but he’d never admit it to anyone.

I remember last summer when Charlie Brown was was watching a golf tournament on TV when Sally heard the commentator say “There’s no tomorrow”. Guess who thought the world was ending THEN! Oh, yes – and Linus (who called out Snoopy and Woodstock yesterday) bought into that one too! Their solution: sit on top of Snoopy’s doghouse. Hypocrites.
