Perhaps, but Dean does this to every woman. Jen only does this to Dean, and he persists despite suffering from anatomically improbable injuries every time. Plus, it’s a comic strip. It’s not meant to be a serious study of human interaction.
I had a friend in college that would make a salad from the salad bar with nothing but bacon bits and cheese. I’m sure Dean would do something similar. (Most “bacon bits” are really just textured vegetable protein.)
