I bought an alarm clock that was on sale once. Later that year, I figured out why it was so cheap: it was pre-programmed to adjust itself for DST, but the schedule for that had been changed shortly before I bought it, so it adjusted itself without warning on the wrong day. I woke up an hour late for a meeting, and had about 5 minutes to get ready once I figured it out!
I leash trained mine. In my experience, though, it wasn’t really like dogs: they’ll stay on the leash no problem, and even go scratch excitedly at the door when they see me pull out the harness, but they do NOT heel or do anything other than whatever the bleep they want while on it.
Sometimes when we girls would say we were grossed out and ran away …we really were grossed out, and didn’t want to be around it. Sorry, Charlie, but: EWW.
