I am so sorry, Borozinski family! Knowing how I will miss the “Cartoonization” strips, I cannot imagine how you will miss your father, grandfather, and brother. What a sweet spirit he had here—it must be beyond our imagining now that he’s set free and Home.
In Nebraska we have Arbor Day… Schools have Easter or Spring Break. Arlo and Janis must live in one of those progressive, sophisticated places where no one gets to have fun.
Kind of hit this Midwesterner on the wrong day. My response to this childish longing to stereotype wasn’t the goal I have for taking time for comics. My list of comics is too long, anyway. Grow up, or don’t, on someone else’s time.
There MUST be a word for the feeling one has while exhibiting a straight mouth and closed eyes, shaking one’s head, and emitting a sound like “MMMMHHH.” Whatever that word is, today’s strip trips its trigger better than any pun I’ve experienced in my past. Amazing.
