I love this strip, and I wish there were more panels about John and Alex’s intimate life. Like this one. My daughter used to “disturb” me and my Husbear in bed regularly, and there was nothing unusual about it: two naked, hairy men staying underneath the sheet while our toddler was under the comforter. I’m not saying I want to see them in the middle in flagrante delicto, but I would like to see them as a couple, doing couple-things … maybe a one-off here and there … or maybe a fantasy sequence where they make their own beefcake romance calendar … ?
Yes, please wrap up this storyline. More physical comedy. And I like these “intimate” moments between John and Alex. My partner and I talk about everything while we’re getting ready for bed and once we’re snuggled in. That makes it more realistic. And lastly … John: boxers? Really? No. Boxer briefs.
