I would guess Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox have it pretty high up on their own lists. All I know is I took my girlfriend to see it several weeks after it came out and I actually had to scalp tickets to see it. I mean, all I did was pay a guy who already bought tickets the list price in cash plus a few extra bucks, but still!
This is why I say abolish the party primary system where the most likely outcome is the president ends up being the preferred choice of 25-30% of eligible voters. Just randomly split eligible candidates unto two primary groups voted on by a random split of registered voters and have the winners from each go to the general. Then we might actually get that preferred choice up to the 40% with a candidate actually trying to appeal to all voters.
It always amazes me when Dems are confused why a man from West Virginia votes like a man from West Virginia and a women from Arizona votes like she’s from Arizona. Is her grandstanding really that much different than, during the attempted Obamacare repeal, literally giving the thumbs down in the middle of the Senate floor for all to see?
I don’t really think of it as “liberal media outlets”. It’s more just profit-driven media who know they can get clicks and reads and viewership by bashing Trump right now. Throw in a dash of attempt-to-show-unbias-ness and this is what you get. Frankly, I don’t know why any Democrat would support Desantis here, who is much more likely to woo undecided voters at this point. Nice comic today.
The new Republican strategy. Manufacture a “crisis” then say only we can fix it. Frame it as simply as possible to fool the masses into thinking it’s “common sense”. It doesn’t have to be right as long as it “sounds right”.
sigh the large wave is a little dramatic, but this does reflect the feelings of my own blue heart. The only saving grace is that the right is putting out such bad candidates that the red wave will be blunted somewhat.
Not his best, but perhaps a sign Ramirez is trying to get more creative as the mid-terms approach. He’s been lazy lately, so I’d settle for some good cheap heat rather than the go-home heat he’s been tossing out lately.
