Agreed. Elementary school children are too young to understand sexual identity issues to start with. BUT, one might wish to know that most gender “reassignment” surgeries are performed on what we used to call hermephrodites and just move the person to whatever he/she was born closest to. I don’t see this as a simple “homophobia” issue!

Recently saw an openly gay news anchor object to putting “woke” in the dictionary because nobody seems to know what it means. Now THAT is woke!
