Mine too! When I asked about it they say that about 50% of their patients are now no shows so they are trying see if the extra reminders will help improve the rate of patients showing up for their appointments.
They should though and the money just sitting in it waiting to be invested, makes better interest than most banks (currently 3.04%). They are very easy to setup and then you can buy CDs from scores of banks with all sorts of options on how they payout, interest rates and length.
