   This one reminded me of the strip for December 31, 2009. But because that one was for New Year’s Eve, it actually made more sense that they all fell asleep in the living room.

   At the time this appeared, I communicated this to the cartoonists (which was possible at that time), and they agreed that I was right. So I might as well put it here also. It was a 400% tip, not a 500% tip. The first two dollars was the price, not part of the tip. For instance, if you tipped 20 cents on that $2.00 purchase, it would be a 10% tip, not a 110% tip. She tipped $8.00 on a $2.00 purchase, so it was 400%. (Sixty years ago, I was the math freak at school.)

   To SquidGamerGirl: I don’t think it’s supposed to be that it happened inside the house. I think it is early morning, and the kids went outside. They came across an animal that they thought was a cat, and tried to play with it. It turned out to be a skunk that sprayed them.

   Anyway, the “do-it-yourself” part does not make sense. If it’s all pre-made, it’s not do-it-yourself.

   In real life, I don’t think she would be frantically covering up when it’s her husband and her little girl. (Hammie is only in the first two panels.) She knows that there are no guests in the house. But yes, the reply about the “G-rated” comic strip makes sense.

   They are the MacPhersons, therefore Scottish. In fact, Hammie’s full first name is Hamish, a Scottish form of James.

   On a side issue regarding today’s strip, notice how Baby Blues seems to jump back and forth in time? Wren again has a bulge inside her pants, indicating a diaper. She is sometimes drawn like that, even though in past strips she was getting potty-trained.

   I assume Zoe would agree that at least his fiction writing is not as bad as his non-fiction writing, as in the strip for September 2, 2014.

   You know, in the history of Baby Blues, Hammie has not shown much sibling jealousy against Wren, even though Zoe showed lots of it against Hammie. Today’s strip is an exception.
