The problem with “remain in Mexico” is that 1. Mexico cannot control the gangs that prey on the people waiting on asylum. 2. People piling up on the other side of the border does not solve the problem. You’d think that they’d get the message when even separating people from their children did not deter them. What they don’t seem to understand is the sheer desperation of the people trying to come here. Until something is done about THAT, it’s all just stopgap.
