    El was a Canaanite god and I believe was shared by the northern Israeli tribes (who ate some pork and had several gods) and the “early” Palestinians who share DNA to this day. We have a Synagogue in our town called Temple Beth El. BTW Israel was actually referred to as Palestine until the late 1940’s. Cousins fighting cousins.

    The schools are still trying to teach critical thinking (basing decisions on reasonable facts and evidence); but the Republican Party has obscured it. That Party has no platform or reasonable policies to offer, so it engages in fear mongering- “Beware of those leftist-facist (oxymoronic) who hate you and America”, etc…
