    Also infamously known as "The Sultan of Tw*t, " Pud Reilly was often hailed as a mixture of Ty Cobb and Babe Ruth. Interestingly, actor William Bendix turned down an offer to portray Reilly in 1948, preferring instead to be in the ridiculously fictionalized Babe Ruth Story.

    I think “ephemeral fly” more adequately describes the species, but it might be the same as the damselfly. At any rate, Bolling shows just how fleeting our lives are in a deep-time universe.

    I’m thinking AG Merrick Garland would like this whole thing to just go away. He appears to have no intention of prosecuting Trump, regardless of the evidence. The trouble is, the evidence just keeps mounting and mounting, making the U.S. judicial system look more and more like that of a banana republic. The good news — if you’re black or a minority, the “justice system” works only too well.
