   Vegetarians don’t eat meat, but eat dairy. Vegans are the ones that don’t eat any animal by product. So grains, beans, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds only, basically.

   I took a college lit course and Eleanor Rigby was in the book as a poem by Lennon/McCartney. (1976-7), also in junior high circa 1972, we discussed the “Sounds of Silence” as a poem. Many songs are poems set to music.

   Eleanor Rigby also used “to wear a face she kept by the door”- No one knew she was miserably alone. Father McKenzie should have stopped by occasionally to chat with her and keep her company a bit.

    I’ve had 4 hand surgeries including carpal tunnel. It’s a simple procedure. Risks are minimal. I’m surprised they’re doing both at once, but then, it’s only one anesthesia. Best of luck and best wishes for a speedy recovery. You’ll have to help him dress and eat and wash for a couple of weeks. It is 99.999999999% successful.
