Clinton is in GREAT physical shape and I am sure not drinking sodas from McD’s. Per usual, McCoy loves beating a dead horse.I often wonder if any of our past leaders would have passed the insane scrutiny of the press nowadays.

As a teacher, this really, really hits the mark. SInce everyone went to school, everyone is an expert on teaching.

Walk a mile in my shoes…I teach the lowest achieving readers…if reading was so easy, why do some kids have such a tough time? And, I’m talking first grade people, not older students.

Give teachers some slack and get the politicians out of the classroom

Great political cartoon. Ted could have spent his life enjoying his wealth. He could have left the Senate in disgrace. Instead, he chose to work very hard and use his wonderful gifts to help pass legislation that has improved the lives of all Americans, especially the people who were least represented. Nice summary too, recap motive, thanks

How many of us have pillars that are weak? And, how many of us have so many pillars that are so strong? Teddy had all his faults on display and despite all his demons, he worked hard to accomplish meaningful reform for all Americans, especially the neediest among us. He was a man of wealth who did not have to give back but took the Kennedy legacy and tried his best to make it work.

We are going to have to learn to accept that those who work in Washington are human…just like the rest of us. The other piece of this equation is that those who run for public office are going to have to stop pushing their own moral agendas as ways to measure their competence for the job. Those who use their moral agendas as proof that they are the right people to lead are oftentimes found wanting, as we have seen in the news lately. I wonder if any of our greatest politicians could have accomplished anything of significance with the scrutiny of the 24/7 news reporting networks. The media examines and dissects every aspect of a public official’s life and serves it to the public more as gossip than informative reporting. Lincoln would have been hounded out of office for his depression and sometimes off color jokes. FDR, had an affair, as did Eisenhower and don’t get me started with Jefferson and his mistress. Washington’s poor oral health would have been a joke, Teddy Roosevelt’s high, squeaky voice would have had some question his manhood…the list goes on. Reflect on what important legislature would not have been championed by Teddy if he had left the Senate after the death of his aid. He certainly did not need the money he made from the job. He worked hard for our future and he made some mistakes in his personal life. How many of us will die having done things we aren’t proud of, and more importantly, how many of us will die having made so many important contributions to the betterment of this country. God speed, Ted. Hope you are enjoying your reunion with your family…and thank you!

Hey now, I am an animal lover, but give the man a chance. He went to jail and paid his debt to society, plus the shame of having everyone know what he did. You can be sure, he won’t do it again… If the purpose of going to prison is to rehabilitate, then I think the man has learned his lesson…don’t you? He isn’t my favorite person, but he has served his time. Cheap shot, you can do much, much better.

As someone who is addicted to tobacco, he knows that signing the bill is the right thing to do… There have been those who have accused Obama as being a “god”, so now, let’s poke at his failings and weaknesses. The man has an addiction that is tough to quit but he still is trying to do the right thing. What’s the problem with that?

well said, tracyalanbolli. I was thinking the same thing. The hummer represented what was wrong with the American car industry-bloated, gas wasting, macho car for people to ride around town: absolutely ridiculous!

Cho is such a great artist, too bad he just doesn’t have a great story line.
