   Reminds me of an old Foster’s Beer commercial, where a patron throws an empty can at another patron at the end of the bar table; who then proceeds to change the TV channel, followed by the caption and announcer voice, “Remote control. Beer. Foster’s: Australian for Beer.”

   At least it’s not something from the Whizzo Chocolate Company. I hear they can be particularly nasty and the company has gotten several written violations over them.

   I had all mine removed. Most were easy to pull and just needed a local injection to numb me. But one on my lower right jaw got so badly infected, it developed into lockjaw. I couldn’t open my jaw to eat or even have the doctor do anything; and it hurt bad.

   The doc gave me antibiotics and Norcos (hydrocodone/acetaminophen combo) painkillers. About a few days later, it was out after my jaw was open enough to do the removal.

   I do believe we have a problem, when it comes to gun violence. It is exacerbated by a growing list of mental illnesses not being addressed and by organizations who are supposed to help regulate what firearms are or are not allowed in anyone’s hands. I do recognize 2nd Amendment rights, but remember: “With great privilege comes great responsibility”; and that’s not just quoting a Star Wars movie line, btw.

   Mind you, this coming from someone who has voted GOP all my life. (I am a moderate, neither extreme leaning far left or far right. But I do have sympathy for the same social, political and economic issues that non-GOP fight for.)

   Same here. Although, my next ‘Net provider will be someone else. I only justify this by the prices. That, and I don’t have to bundle packages together like Spectrum forces you to.
