So let me get this straight. There are parts of the world where they gladly eat insects and other such creepy crawlers, but the origin of drinking milk is what confuses you? :P
Calvin’s Dad said "Everybody’s rude, too. People swear all the time, and you can forget about being addressed as “Mr.” or “Sir.” There’s no respect for anyone." This coming from the man who makes a scene whenever he goes grocery shopping (“Did the manager have to talk to you again?”) People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. :P
You make a good point with “you don’t like seeing people wear normal clothes is being a control freak.” It’s simultaneously confusing and frustrating. You can technically do anything you like thanks to the First Amendment, and then when you actually do those things, you get criticized for it?
I like to think that if Calvin and his family went to one of the Disney theme parks or the Six Flags parks or someplace cool like that instead of yet another horrible camping trip, the fun and happy vibes of those places would cause Calvin’s Dad to spontaneously combust. :P
“We big picture people”? Oh, so you can read their minds all of a sudden. :P That’s what happens when your ego gets as big as Calvin’s. You can’t use a personal example as empirical evidence.
Not necessarily. One time in the history of Hollywood, they were practically making Westerns once a week. :P
