   I feel Luann’s pain. No one EVER wanted to borrow my homework! Was it the barely adequate grades that I consistently earned? That’s discrimination! Some sort of “ism”, I just know. No one gives the dumb bunnies any respect! Or, perhaps it was the fact I was always “borrowing” someone else’s homework? It’s a question for the ages. Inquiring minds. Ah, well.

   Yes, wearing it to the beach. Where, presumably, her girlfriends and various others will also be similarly dressed. NOT wearing it to the mailbox at the corner, by herself, in the middle of the night, in the rain.

   Also, she’s a teenage girl and speaking from personal experience, there’s just no point in expecting logic or consistency here. :D

   You are naïve to the ways of women, n’est-ce pas? I have swim suits that I wear when I am planning to go to an Olympic-sized pool and get in some laps for a vigorous workout or actively play and swim in the surf with friends all day long.

   I have “bathing” suits that I wear for light splashing around in the water, suits that provide a certain amount of cover while also showing off a good bit, though I may moderate that with a strategically placed silk scarf or wrap for private interludes and those darling waterfront bars.

   I also have bikinis whose only purpose is for me to luxuriate in the sun, majestically perched on a chaise longue, (With plenty of sunscreen.), to capture eyeballs and which must not be gotten wet, because if they did, they might just shrink right out of existence!

   Quite frankly, bikinis should only be worn while engaging in the languorous art of seduction, as bikinis provide very little support. TOO much movement could create such a faux pas as to drive all and sundry who glimpse such perfection to the very brink of higgledy-piggledyness. And we wouldn’t want that, would we?

   She goes to the pool like that with her girlfriends who are also like that. And in general, most of the people there are like that. Here, she is flying solo and apparently going on walk-about alone. At night. I might be a little shy myself in similar circumstances.

   Also, Bear in mind, MOST women and young ladies like to have a wrap or a cover-up for travel to and from the pool or beach and any other times when they just don’t feel like letting it all hang out. Quite frankly, I’m surprised Luann has the guts for a 2 piece-and a fairly skimpy 2 piece at that. My guess, she just recently worked up the nerve to buy such scandalous garb and may be regretting that her friends were in the know, regarding her purchase.

   “If you’re gonna lie, we can’t play “Truth or Dare”"Au contraire, it is the BEST time to lie in my experience. Always asking embarrassing, personal questions, threatening you with inappropriate dares! It’s a jungle out there, you do what you can to survive…THE SLUMBER PARTY!

    Thank you, again! I am optimistic that the issue will be fixed soon. Normally, such things are merely an occasional inconvenience. I hope that if it is not back before I set off to school, it will be back and all right by the time I get home later today. :)
