I’m just seriously worried that identifying traffic lights and bicycles and crosswalks proves you are not AI…. and then hear Tesla go on about how their cars can self-drive…

Guns are not a health or a mental health issue actually – guns are a culture issue. And I think your answer actually backs this up more that the argument of mental health.

I know this is incredibly unpopular to say, because it means we aren’t the best we could be – but consider this: find me a modern popular mainstream American movie that has a conflict in it, that doesn’t resolve it with a gun. OK, that’s a bit black and white – but, honestly, watching a stream or a movie and someone is stressed out about the actions of someone else – and we think, the hero will shoot the bad guy.

I’ve lived elsewhere. Honestly, this “a gun is a way to solve things” is very much an American thing. If any other country had the right to bear arms in their constitution, I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t result in them seeing guns as the first alternative to safety/protection/debate – they generally have less lethal things to be proud of that they believe reflects who they are more.

This is the excuse for the system that always seemed weird to me. The incentive to do a good job in any other position in that same restaraunt is called “at-will employment”. Why have one class of workers who do their job because that’s their job, and another class that only surviv at the whim of how generous the patrons feel that day?

Tips are exploitation, not a reward system.

That was Lockheed for the 1999 MArs mission, who didn’t read their contract and so used US units when working with a multi-departmental project where everyone else did. A great example of the danger of trusting someone to QA their own work…

By the way, the US has had Metric as the preferred legal measurement standard since Ford signed it into law in 1975. We are SUCH a bunch of rebels.

So by your sympathies and logic, you’d support Jordan – the legal owners of occupied West Bank – full-on bombing Israel as soon as Israel kills off another 600 or so innocent civilians in that region to equal that number of deaths over there since the “current round” started?

There is no moral high ground to be had here. Yes, Hamas bad, but Israel bad, supporters of Israel’s current tactics also bad. Also all this started an awfully long time prior to last December.

Klepsis > Tips is an abreviation for the phrase “to insure personal service”. “Tip” predates American English.Considering only American english spells “insure” and “ensure” the same way, to meet this meaning would require it to be a “tep”.

Original?? Oh man, you’ve missed out. This is like saying Roger Moore, the original James Bond, was the best.

Can’t get better than Tom Baker, and even he was, I think, fourth?

Don’t confuse a real term with the label approrpiated by name-callers to win poorly thought out political arguments…. There are actually quite a few solicalist governments right now. Spain, for one, and Portugal for that matter. Norway and Denmark both – making up a bit of Scandanavia, which isn’t a country, though. And until last week, New Zealand.

A Democratic socialist government practicaes Socialism. It doesn’t mean the same thing as usually assumed, that it is a communist dictatorship liek the old USSR.

You don’t learn from being told. You remember memes, at best.If you left behind learning because you had mean kids with you at school, I’m both sorry and really encourage you to give education another go.

When you teach (as I do) you do your students the biggest disservice ever to gove them nothing but slogans to repeat. Your school is most likely indicative of where we all went wrong with our current level of intelligent debate…
