I taught near a rendering plant. They took grease or dead animals and extracted the protein for dog food. I taught PE outside and when the wind shifted to the north it would knock a buzzard off a sh!t wagon. Smelled like vomit.

as long as ammosexuals believe guns are sacrosanct and no laws are better laws we will have these types of killing. Commons sense is gone. Just need more guns. America. Healthcare is insane and guns are our birthright. The rest of the world looks on and shakes it head.

My childhood but instead of Wormwood I had Mr Tallman. A very heavy WW2 vet and also the principal that taught our 6th grade. I would daydream after lunch while we did boring social studies by reading aloud from the book. IF I didnt know the place when he called I got a swat. Woke me up for sure. He was a great man/teacher.

Great one today. Poignant but accurate. With all the anger, snark and incivility this strip added some decency to my Sunday.

Guilty as charged. I grew up (the sixties) reading two newspapers that my dad had delivered. Tampa TRibune and Gainesville Sun. I took the sun my entire life. Now it is mailed or online. I read it online as I am RIGHT NOW. Maybe Im a dinosaur but we had great editorial writers, Great sports writers. Good local news. Now its all gone along with lousy magazines like Time and Sports Illustrated. I miss the good writing. Thank God they still print books to read.
