I hear people say, “I need to go on a diet.” But unless you are fasting, you ARE on a diet. The question is: are you on a good diet or a bad diet?
Weight management is the easiest formula in the universe: calories in vs. calories out. Eat more than you burn, you gain. Burn more than you eat, you lose. All the fad diets, pills and tricks are just window dressing and snake oil meant to relieve the dieter of responsibility.
I think DST is a great idea. Either that or let’s stay on DST all year. I have always been and will always be a late riser, so I love the extended daylight hours. So why should you be able to enforce your will on me because you don’t like it? Tit-for-tat.
No, but you have twice as much silken end on one side, so it can be more comfortable in one direction and less so in the other, kinda like summer and winter with DST.
