Our friends had two Yorkies. We would kneel down at one end of a long hallway with a hardwood floor and cup our hand on the floor. One or the other Yorkie would walk up and let you slide them down the hall. The best part was as they were sliding down the hall they would turn around and start running in your direction. Eventually, as they slowed down, would get traction and run backup the hall to sit in your hand again. We called it “Bowling with Yorkies”.
My aunt and uncle raised chickens for eggs in large barns and had at least two in each cage (50+ years ago). They burned off the end of each chicken’s beak otherwise they would peck each other to death.
I didn’t wear my wedding ring to work either, I had to reach into electrical equipment that had 6 capacitors the size of crowler beer cans. Even with the power turned off they could still put out a sizable jolt. I did wear my ring outside of work.
My wife exports a browser list of favorites for her Christmas wishes. The best part is her birthday is in January so what ever is left over on the list or won’t make in time becomes her birthday list.
I want fame, if it is only for 15 minutes, then I’m done.
