“people who have run out of answers”.. as to why they should remain in power. So they sow seeds of dissension and and fear.

flee… to where? By then it is quite possible what is left of the free world will be in constant assault from authoritarians and totalitarians. The proclivity of humans to gravitate towards BS strongmen is already showing up.

" a few months"…. I think we’re already getting a sense of where things are heading economically. The Fed’s chief banking regulator was pressured to resign today. Expect a lot of deregulation in finance. A lack of banking regulation is what caused the Great Recession of 2008. The greedy fat cats will get their cut and the rest of us will be hung out to dry when things implode. Meanwhile Mouthpiece Donald will blame everyone except himself.

I have no idea how those two egos are going to fit in the oval office for an extended period. The ‘Trump Era’ is definitely going to be interesting like catching Norovirus is interesting. My bet is that once Trump is cleared of all wrongdoing he’ll let other people run the show and he will sit back as long as he can profit from any decisions made. So it will be one way or another a defacto Oligarchy / Kleptocracy. His admin. has just forced the resignation of the Fed’s top bank regulator. Finance will be greatly deregulated. This will be followed by excessive greed (think crypto), followed by fear and crashing of the economy. But not before the Oligarchs next to Trump get their cut. Think 2008 and more all over again. I do hope my speculation is wrong.

" The Art of the Bullying Grift" ; Trump’s next book title, but he can’t find any A list author willing to ghost write it for him? How so many Americans were willing to give him a pass after the events circulating around Jan 6 and the 2020 election is mind boggling. Today is the 4th anniversary of that infamy. Never forget it. Will Americans who voted for Trump be surprised that there life will not change much under his ‘rule’? Any improvements the country has over the next few years will be due primarily from the long term effects of the legislation enacted under the Biden administration. I will guarantee you that Trump will try to take credit for it.

Sounds like wine that goes with his whine. I also like POTUSINO. Sounds like a nice Mediterranean coastal resort where I wish he was instead of here.

Flying the flag upside down is not illegal. It is supposed to indicate a situation of distress, so……
Trump does not understand or appreciate what long term relationships with allies and friends mean. He is a short term transactional operative. I don’t know if America will have any stalwart allies after round two of trump. None of them will trust us anymore. We have no one to blame but the 77M misdirected voters who put this miscreant back in office.
