    Read all comments, but really have to agree with LucyRudy. I remember riding buses with steel grab bars on top of seat in front of me. Often wondered what it would be like to hit one of those in an accident! Vehicles have automatic everything now…why not automatic safety belts? Or a lap-bar, like on a carnival ride?

    I am 75. Yes, I still use a few checks, to pay utilities and to send gifts to certain relatives, because I can limit the amount of personal info going on-line. Besides, mailing checks supports USPS which I don’t want to lose.
