You know it’s coming. What I will never know is why Goshen?

The usual “Milford misses the playdowns by this much” ending Neal and Rod always use for the “Winning isn’t everything” lesson that’s really a cop-out for the fact that Milford (and Detroit sports) are a bunch of losers.

Goshen cannot be that good! At least Milford has the injury excuse to fall back on when they miss the playoffs this time.

Oh well, on to basketball to see which star player (or Mimi’s star Amazon) has a problem that will affect the team so much they miss the playdowns…again.

    ISNTEAD?

At this point, she’s probably doing it on purpose for the attention.

And even then, Mona still wouldn’t be the best character in her own strip.

Something the Dilbert clone couldn’t do: make said character funny. At least Dilbert knows who its main character is. And cat actually tell a funny joke.

And to think, some Dilbert wannabe strip turned this one comic strip into a recurring character. No, it’s not as good as it sounds.

Somebody actually named their comic strip that? Must be some kind of hack.

Yes. Mona hates Donna. Why are you all in such denial?

  9. over 11 years ago on C'est la Vie

And because she secretly hates Donna’s guts, but is too much of a coward to admit it because she knows she will die alone if she does.

    Either:

Milford wins the state title in the dumbest way possible

    or:

They once again choke in the playdowns in order to give us their usual moral about making your own luck and trusting in your own abilities.

They lost to Goshen; they’re not winning jack squat.
