   Remi, the Lab, hates wind, rain, snow and excessive heat. Loves walks in the sunshine on cool gorgeous days! She’s been known to “hold it” for hours if we open the door and it’s raining. Takes one look and backs up…..literally! Good thing she isn’t a hunting dog so I get Max.

   Ours does that too! If you have a late evening meal, she thinks she gets a treat too. Plus she’s older and we think she’s forgetting she’s been fed. And those eyes!

   Who forgets it’s Halloween…..we’ve been eating Halloween candy for a week! LOL!

   So husband was out of town on an Honor Flight to DC and texted me to ask what I’d been doing. Told him I’d gone for a mile walk because the weather was beautiful. His reply, “On purpose!” It actually did make me laugh. Need to walk more.

   Okay, in reading all these, most of us are oldsters but not all! It was good times though, wasn’t it! I remember sitting cross legged on the neighbors carpet watching one of the first TV’s. Kids today have missed some good times even with all their new technology. Do they even know their neighbors?

   Our Lab is getting tufts here and there and yes, burr removal too. She walks under shrubs when she goes out at night (fenced) and comes back with things attached to her which both my husband and I painstakingly remove.
