   The reverse is kind of amusing too: like the day I touched a word in the book I was reading to look it up in the online dictionary and then realized after no response from the second tap that I was reading a paper book.

   This misses a vital difference: your choice to not wear a mask endangers MY body. You’re perfectly welcome to your car off a bridge to kill yourself; when do it in a way that your car lands on someone else, then it matters.

   Columbus, Neil Armstrong, George Mallory all took calculated risks for a specified goal. That’s a little different from throwing 7 year olds into a tuberculous ward.

   I’d also argue, given the infection rate at college campuses, that their older siblings are fearless and incapable of calculating risk.
