The GOP are all over the concept of the ‘Deal’ and the Dems know a thing or two about negotiating, but not so much the cartoonists. Negotiating has just begun… onward.
I once had fake rubber dog poop in my purse. I asked the waiter to put it on a plate with some whipped cream and a strawberry or two and serve it to my brother for his birthday. I manged to capture the look on my brother’s face as the waiter served the ‘Rasberry cream torte.’
When I saw the cartoon I had the same thought, mikefive.What I don’t understand is why it took so long to see it as a serious problem which needed to be addressed quickly.
His overalls shyould say, “Mining company malfeasance.”If Congress hadn’t been handing EPA funding cuts that prevent it from doing what the public expects it to do, this wouldn’t have happened. Now taxpayers have to pay for the disaster when it would have cost a lot less if EPA had been funded adewuately in the first place.
