HAHAHAHAHAHAHA[snort, giggle]Landslide, what landslide? 2024 Harris:226 EC votes. 74,391,072 popular votes(48.3%) trump: 312 EC votes 76,916,724popular votes(49.9%) a difference of only 1.6% Not even an EC landslide as trump got only 86 more EC votes than Harris .

Going back 60 years, the REAL EC landslides: in 1964 LBJ-486. Goldwater-52. In 1972 Nixon-520. McGovern-17. In 1980 RR-489. Carter-49. In 1984 RR-525. Mondale-13 all beat trump-312 Harris-226 which is a difference of only 86 EC votes.(FYI In 2020 Biden got 81,268, 867 popular votes*SETTIN THE RECORD FOR THE MOST POPULAR VOTES IN HISTORY*[Biden broke Obama’s 2008 popular vote record of 69,498,516] and 306 EC to trump-74,216,720 popular votes and 232 EC votes, A 74 EC vote difference) And finally, just for you: 90 million registered voters did not vote in the 2024 election. We all know that Americans have extremely short memories, the Rs lost every election between 2-18 and the so called “red wave” that the Rs were expecting in 2022 failed to materialize, I would also note that trumps coattails were also extremely short in 2024

A few years after the US kicked the Taliban out of Afghanistan, lots of Afghans were saying that things had been better under the Taliban. Well, y’all got your wish, the Taliban are back in charge. And, as long as they refrain from sheltering groups like al-Qaeda and people like OBL, no one will come and kick them out

Far too many similar incidents happened between the US Army and the Native Americans have never been taught in schools, going all the way back to when the Europeans first invaded what became the US. Think about it. Winners write the histories

OK I won’t tell you that. But guest writer Eric Costello’s latest DT adventure started a few weeks ago and so far the story is advancing slower than molasses in February. One could say that this story line is Plodding Along at a Snail’s Pace. Do you suppose Mr Costello is being paid by the number of panels this story takes? Kind of like the old pulp magazines of the ’30s that paid writers by the word?

OOPS, should have written 100% right not 11%

Last Monday Jon Stewart comments were 11% right. The Ds always always obey decisions by whoever the authority might be[like Bidens folding when he got an adverse opinion by the Parliamentarian, never looking for loopholes] or ignoring an adverse ruling by SRCOTUS trumpers[aka Rs] are busy looking for and exploiting every loophole in every law, or simply ignore whatever they don’t like (as trump did previously when he simply ignored the Foreign Emoluments Clause of the Constitution. On behalf of members of Congress CAC filed suit in 2018 asking the Federal Courts to compel trump to comply with the Constitution. In Feb 2020 the D.C. Circuit ordered that the District Courts Sept 2018 order on standing be reversed and the case be remanded with instructions to dismiss the complaint. CAC filed a petition for a writ of certiorari, asking the Supreme Court to review the decision and explaining how that decision conflicted with with the SC precedents on legislator standing. In Oct 2020 the Roberts Court denied the petition)Thus the Roberts Court established a new precedent: That a president could ignore a clause in the Constitution and no one had standing to sue in Federal Court to compel the President to follow the Constitution. So Biden and the Democrats could, if they wanted, do something to prevent trump becoming President[like trumps Jan 2021 attempted coup]because it would be an official presidential act. But because the Democrats are totally conditioned to obey authority, they will continue to do nothing
