   Although they love it, popped kernels will swell in their tiny stomachs. Please always use safe and regular bird food and save our furry friends!

   A word of warning: We had a parakeet once and fed it some already-popped popcorn. A little bit later it was dead. Our vet told us that it was killed by the popcorn swelling in its tiny stomach. So, everyone, if you have a pet bird of any kind, be on the safe side and don’t ever feed it popcorn! :)

   I’m going to greatly miss this strip, too.

   Instead of dropping it at some arbitrary date, I wish they’d hold off until this storyline plays out to the end. It’s very interesting as they all are, and I’d sure like to see it finish before the strip is gone for good.
