I’m not expecting a large voluntary exodus of illegal immigrants from the U.S. unless the economy gets so bad that the socialized and charity handouts and illegal hiring here dry up. The job situation and economy in their home countries are likely as bad as or worse than ours. Many of them have children who were born here who will, they hope, reap benefits in the future. Also, they assume that the U.S. will at least attempt to help its economy to recover, whereas their own countries have been largely plagued with poverty, crime, governmental corruption, and lousy judicial systems for years on end. Even Mexico, which does have resources to exploit, refuses to fully develop them in order to help its own citizens and benefits greatly from Mexicans who work here and send a large amount of money back to Mexico (which doesn’t help our economy).
LOL! What luck - bad luck, that is!
