+1 -I want both , too – Flat Norm then Knocked Out Loaded then restart – I would love to see the early ones – I came to this some part of the way.

Michael – WONDERFUL work! This is great! Nice to have you back and producing this fine strip. This one in particular is really good! Thank you so much!

Alas, not modeled physically (Philip was Korean after all. And I? well, no main character seems to be 50+ [HINT!]), but mentally there are some certainly uncanny resemblences … ;-)

I had a friend, Philip, who passed away at the age of 29 before the SW Chapters 1 – 3 came out. I still miss him these many years later. But the conversation between Jay and Roy [sic?] I can easily see between Philip [Roy] and me [Jay] … and of course the bystanding and long-suffering co-workers, colleagues, friends, family, spouses, companions, dogs, etc. etc. Thank you, John and Scott, for inadvertenly stumbling into fond memories and bringing an old friend back to me.

Aaron, I don’t get into this commenting one panel at a time stuff. But I cannot find an e-mail address for you, so this will be my one time.I think you have a great great talent. I love the lines you draw. The action, the emotion, all come through cleanly and clearly and easily. Your stories are affecting and true. As a writer you have as much or more talent than with a line. I am really impressed with how you capture the animal likenesses – some of the “pros” like Picasso and van Gogh and Renoir and so on could not draw animals with the right proportions – and you do, and give them emotions on the side. I do not understand why animation studios or newspapers are not snapping you up and making you substantial offers … but then the business side of art and creativity continues to astonish me with their short-sightedness and lack of originality – none of which you have. Keep up this most excellent work of yours. I love the heart and soul and nearly unblinking look you have at these communities of outsiders as they struggle to deal with themselves and each other. I look forward to book versions of these stories some day, even through Dark Horse or Eclipse or Viz or whichever publisher finally wakes up and realizes just how good you are and the great work you are doing.-N
